Journal of Antibiotic Development and Clinical Practice

Aims and Scope

The Journal of Antibiotic Development and Clinical Practice aims to:

Promote research focused on antibiotic discovery, development, and optimization for combating infectious diseases.

Address the rising concerns of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) through innovative clinical and laboratory-based studies.

Encourage multidisciplinary approaches, including pharmacology, clinical microbiology, genomics, and artificial intelligence, to improve antibiotic therapies.

Provide a forum for evaluating the clinical efficacy, safety, and real-world applications of antibiotics.

Scope of the Journal includes but is not limited to:

1. Novel Antibiotic Development:

Discovery of new antibiotics from natural or synthetic sources

Optimization of existing antibiotics for enhanced efficacy

High-throughput screening and antibiotic innovation

2. Clinical Research in Antibiotic Therapy:

Clinical trials (Phase I-IV) assessing antibiotic safety and efficacy

Observational studies on real-world antibiotic usage

Comparative effectiveness of antibiotic regimens

3. Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR):

Mechanisms of resistance in bacterial, fungal, or parasitic infections

Surveillance and epidemiology of resistant pathogens

Strategies for preventing and managing antibiotic resistance

4. Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics:

Drug absorption, metabolism, and optimization studies

Antibiotic dose adjustment in special populations (e.g., pediatric, geriatric, renal impairment)

5. Innovations in Antibiotic Delivery and Diagnostics:

Novel drug delivery systems and formulations

Rapid diagnostic tools for antibiotic stewardship

6. Case Reports and Clinical Practice:

Unique clinical presentations and treatment responses

Emerging pathogens and antibiotic therapies
